Ethically sourced Palo Santo is the main scent profile in this blend and offers a grounding, cleansing energy. Light and slightly sweet from the vanilla and white sage - woodsy and earthy from the ethically sourced palo santo and sandalwood.

A Hydrosol is a plant medicine comprised of the "spirit" of a plant, also sometimes called aromatic or floral water. The alchemical process used to produce hydrosol is called steam/hydro distillation, utilizing a hand-pounded copper alembic still. The art of steam distillation dates back to 500 BC, when Persian alchemists created copper stills to distill beloved rose water, as well as other fine balms and perfumes. Copper has been prized as an optimum metal in the Alchemical tradition, due to its natural antimicrobial properties and incredible rate of heat conduction.

RITUAL

Shake bottle and spritz generously. Can be used as a toner, room or body spray. Grounding + Cleansing, works wonderfully during ritual or energy work.

Hydrosols offer a multitude of uses including:

a facial spray for ultimate hydration

can be used as a facial toner or make up remover

can be used in place of perfume or body spray

spray onto your hair for scent and hydration

can be used as a room or linen spray

can be applied to wounds, bug bites or sunburns for relief

can be used in place of essential oils in a diffuser

can be used for emotional well-being

Even though ALL of Slow's creations are made with pure and organic ingredients, and it is highly unlikely that any reaction will occur, it is still wise to always begin with a small amount to test for irritation.

Each product is made in micro batches by me in our home-based apothecary and there may be some variation from batch to batch, but ratios remain the same.

BEST face mist!

I love using the Gaia Mist when I wake up in the morning or if I need a reset midday. It’s refreshing and wakes up my skin, bonus that it smells good!

How to create the perfect vibe
